PREVENT & MANAGE EMERGENCIES
Become a diver prepared to manage underwater emergencies with the Rescue Diver and React Right course in Malta.
You’ll learn to prevent accidents, spot stressful situations a mile away, and execute rescues like a pro, following the official Diver Stress & Rescue program.
This course also throws in the React Right certification, arming you with first aid, CPR, oxygen administration, and basic defibrillator (AED) skills – turning you into a real first responder, ready for anything on the surface or underwater.
The Rescue Diver, also known as the official Diver Stress & Rescue program, is one of our advanced diving courses, built to prepare divers for stressful and emergency situations – because let’s face it, things can go sideways fast.
You’ll learn to anticipate problems before they even happen, spot the subtle signs of stress in other divers, and act decisively and safely when an incident occurs.
And because we’re obsessed with being prepared, the program also includes the React Right certification, giving you rock-solid skills in first aid, CPR, oxygen administration, and defibrillator (AED) use.
The Rescue Diver and React Right course is a 2-day deep dive into rescue skills, broken down into 3 progressive phases: intense theoretical training, confined water mastery, and real-world open sea rescue simulations.
We kick things off with hardcore theoretical training through the e-learning system and face-to-face sessions. You'll learn to sniff out stressful situations, prevent accidents before they happen, and nail those rescue protocols.
This phase also lays the groundwork for the React Right program, focusing on assessing patients and initiating emergency response like a total pro.
Before hitting the open water, you'll drill self-rescue techniques, master assisting conscious and unconscious divers, and learn to manage critical situations in a controlled environment.
The goal? To build unshakeable confidence, laser-like precision, and lightning-fast reactions before you face real-world scenarios.
The course culminates in 3 open water dives where you'll unleash everything you've learned in simulated situations, all under the watchful eye of your instructor.
We're talking a maximum depth of 18 meters, so you're training in real conditions while staying safe and completely in control.

Our Rescue Diver and React Right course includes absolutely everything you need, so you can laser-focus on developing your prevention and rescue skills with total confidence.
Dive into the official e-learning with academic sessions from the Diver Stress and Rescue and React Right programs, where you'll master stress prevention, rescue protocols, and first aid basics.
Get guided training from a top-notch instructor who's obsessed with safety and will supervise all your practice in confined water and the open sea, guaranteeing a safe and progressive learning experience.
3 confined water sessions and 3 open water dives using complete, top-notch scuba diving equipment to practice rescue techniques.
Full insurance coverage during the entire activity and issuance of the official certification upon successful completion of the program. Internationally recognized certification.
Get seriously good at underwater emergency prevention and management, and walk away with double official SSI certification as a rescue diver and a first responder.
The Rescue Diver course is aimed at certified divers expanding their emergency skills: the step before the Divemaster course.
To access it, it is necessary to have previous experience and meet the official standards.
Malta is one of the most renowned diving destinations in Europe and an ideal environment to take your Rescue Diver course. Its waters offer great visibility throughout the year and stable conditions for safe training.
The island combines wrecks, walls and open areas that allow you to practice rescue exercises in varied and realistic scenarios.
In addition, by integrating React Right training, you will learn to apply emergency protocols both underwater and on the surface.
You'll train in crystal-clear waters with insane visibility and a huge variety of dive scenarios: shore dives, wrecks, and walls – perfect for practicing real rescue skills in safe conditions.
Hand-picked scuba diving equipment, obsessively checked and maintained. Regulators, BCDs, and wetsuits in perfect condition to guarantee your safety and comfort throughout the course.
We live and breathe the official standards, jamming the Rescue Diver program and React Right training into a single, structured course. We blend e-learning with real-world practical training so you build rock-solid safety skills, judgment, and lightning-fast reactions.
