SSI / PADI CERTIFICATION
Optimize your dives and take your dive planning to the next level with the Nitrox Diving Course in Malta.
The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty allows you to dive using enriched air, reducing nitrogen absorption and extending your no-decompression limits. It’s the perfect certification for repetitive dives, liveaboards, and dive holidays.
You’ll learn how to calculate your Maximum Operating Depth (MOD), analyze your breathing gas before every dive, and correctly configure your dive computer for Nitrox diving.
The Enriched Air Nitrox course is a specialty that enables you to use oxygen-enriched air in your dives and the deep diving course.
During the training you will learn to calculate the maximum operating depth (MOD), manage oxygen exposure and correctly analyze a bottle before each dive.
It is the shortest of our diving courses: 4 to 6 hours of theory, with the option of adding a dive to apply it in the water. At the end you will obtain the official Enriched Air Nitrox certification.
Diving with Nitrox allows you to optimize your planning and make the most of each dive. The main advantages of enriched air are:

For this reason, the Nitrox course is one of the most recommended specialties for divers who make diving trips or days with several dives.
Our SSI Enriched Air Nitrox specialty course includes everything you need to safely use enriched air and plan your dives correctly.
Access to the official eLearning with specific content on Nitrox mixtures, oxygen management, MOD calculation and dive planning.
Practical review of calculations, bottle analysis and computer configuration under direct supervision.
Use an oxygen analyzer to verify the mixture before each dive. Option to add 1 dive with Nitrox.
Issuance of an internationally recognized certification that enables you to dive with enriched air.
