The Photo & Video course is a specialty designed for certified divers who want to improve their image technique in the underwater environment.

It combines fundamentals of composition and equipment control with 2 practical dives where you will apply stability, distance, and planning to capture images with greater intention and visual quality.

What is the Underwater Photography and Video Course?

The Underwater Photography and Video Course in Malta is one of our diving specialties for certified divers (Open Water or equivalent) who want to improve their imaging techniques and learn to document their dives with higher quality and visual criteria.

The Photo & Video training combines basic theory of composition, framing, and lighting with practical application at sea, where you will work on equipment control and stability to achieve sharper and well-constructed images. At the end you will obtain the official Photo & Video Specialty certification.

During the 2 practical dives you will apply basic principles of underwater photography and video, developing control, stability, and visual criteria in a real environment.

No way! The Photo & Video course is built for certified divers itching to nail killer underwater shots, even if you’ve never touched an underwater camera before.

You MUST be Open Water Diver certified, or equivalent. No exceptions – gotta be a certified diver to get in on the real dives.

This specialty is a one-day deep dive, packed with essential theory and two mind-blowing practical dives in the open sea.

Bring your own compact camera or action cam with its underwater housing. If you need the inside scoop on configurations or accessories, our obsessed team will hook you up with advice before you even get wet.

Hell yes! This course is all about technique, composition, distance, and control beneath the surface. Even with a basic camera, prepare to witness a serious jump in quality, stability, and the final, jaw-dropping results.

Minimum age is 10 years old – but only if the young gun meets the pre-requisite certification requirements.
